Amanda Clore - Home Club (Frogtown Curling Club)

Amanda started curling at Frogtown in 2011 during the first full season. Always being intrigued by watching it during the Olympics, it was not until her friends Adam and Jessica Erickson invited her and her husband to join a league and the addiction began. Finding curling has been life changing because she has met so many new friends, it makes winter in Minnesota more tolerable, and she LOVES the game. She loves to give back to the game and her home club of Frogtown by volunteering with merchandising, learn to curls, youth curling, running bonspiels, community drives, and now the TCCA Board. She said YES to being on the TCCA Board because she is an ambassador for the sport and saw the opportunity to contribute to the Twin Cities Curling community at a higher level. Her primary goal is to continue marketing the game to as many interested people as possible so the clubs stay strong for years to come and hopefully even more clubs open. The demand is what promoted Frogtown to open and give 600 of us a chance to curl and now there are 5 clubs and 2 arena clubs in the Twin Cities.

While she has had many memorable on ice and off ice moments with her curling friends and husband, her favorite curling moment was having beers with Kevin Martin for two hours at Frogtown talking about many great curling stories.
